Private Hire:
D.K. & N. Bowman have for over 30 years years been involved with Private Hire and the provision of Home to School transport working in close conjunction with Cumbria County Council. Latterly we have been working with a major Secondary school in the area withthe responsibility for the safe transportation of school children every day. All our drivers undergo extensive Police and CRB checks as part of our contractual obligations. Apart from home to school transport D.K. & N. Bowman transport children all over the country; whether it is to the local swimming baths or an excursion to a major city, we have the capacity to cover it all. Ramblers:
We have had the pleasure of working closely with the 'Carlisle and District Rambling and Fell Walking Club'. We have worked alongside the Ramblers Association since 1991 transporting them on their fortnightly meetings to locations including The Lake District, SW Scotland, Lune Valley, Yorkshire, Mddleton-in-Teesdale and Ribblesdale among other locations. Support Services:
D.K. & N. Bowman provide breakdown cover to other coach operators, whether it’s a puncture or mechanical failure we endeavor to move the passengers as quickly and safely as possible either on the operator’s own vehicle or one of ours either way you can be assured of the best service. We can also provide drivers for other operators, covering for sickness, drivers rest days or any other provision allow a complete and unique bespoke service.

We also cover Rail Support Services for First Group who undertake rail replacement for the major Train Operating Companies.
